Hi, I'm Roos Rehbock, founder and owner of Jungle Jive Travel.
With more than twenty years of experience in the travel industry and over ten years of living and working in Suriname, I know Suriname not only as a destination, but also as my home.
Through the many trips I have taken throughout Suriname and the Caribbean, I have also built a personal network in the places I recommend.
I don't recommend places that I only know from photos or brochures. I have visited and experienced them myself and know what you can genuinely expect.
That means I know what makes a stay special, what you should take into consideration and — perhaps most importantly — which places are and are not the right fit for different types of travellers.
From an adventurous journey deep into the jungle to a small-scale riverside accommodation or a quiet beach cove on the islands: my advice is based on first-hand experience.

I will also honestly tell you when I feel something may not be the right fit for what you are looking for.
Because a place can be beautiful, but that doesn't automatically make it the right place for you.

I then bring the different elements of your journey together, take care of the practical arrangements and remain your personal point of contact — including during your trip.
We keep discussing and adjusting until your journey feels right for you.
